Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Winnow app ("the App") provided by NTPCO ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App

Winnow helps you find and remove reclaimable storage on your iOS device — such as duplicate photos, large videos, and old screenshots — and can compress videos into smaller copies. All analysis runs on your device. Deletions are carried out through Apple's Photos system and are recoverable from Recently Deleted for 30 days.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the EULA.

3. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for reviewing and confirming what to delete. Winnow only makes suggestions; every removal is confirmed by you.
• You should maintain your own backups (e.g., iCloud Photos or another backup). We are not responsible for data you choose to delete.
• You agree not to misuse the App, reverse engineer it (except where permitted by law), or use it to violate any law or third-party rights.

4. Video compression

When you compress a video, Winnow creates a new, smaller copy in your library and leaves the original in place. Compression is lossy — the compressed copy has reduced quality. You decide whether to remove the original.

5. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will identify every reclaimable item or never suggest an item you'd rather keep.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NTPCO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Because deletions go through Apple's Recently Deleted (recoverable for 30 days), you retain the ability to restore items within that window.

7. Changes

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at NTPCO's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory local consumer-protection laws apply to you.
