Big videos are where the space goes
Winnow lists your biggest videos and can shrink them, so you keep the memory and get the gigabytes back.
Where these numbers come from
These are typical values for High Efficiency recording (HEIC photos and HEVC video), based on the storage figures Apple has published for earlier iPhones and on common measurements. Real files vary with the scene, light and motion: a busy 4K scene can be much bigger than a calm one. Videos recorded in Most Compatible (H.264) can be about twice the size. 1 GB is counted as 1,000 MB, like the iPhone does. Use the result as an estimate, not a promise.
Apple publishes no per-minute size for Cinematic, so its value is an estimate based on 4K at 30 fps with HDR. Edit it to match your own files.
Questions
Which iPhone video format uses the most space?
4K at 60 fps, about 400 MB a minute in High Efficiency, and slo-mo at 240 fps, about 480 MB a minute. 1080p at 30 fps is about 60 MB a minute.
Can I record smaller videos?
Yes. In Settings › Camera › Record Video choose 1080p HD at 30 fps and keep Camera Formats on High Efficiency. Winnow can also shrink videos you already have.
